Bar/Bat Mitzvah (Child & Adult)

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club is a Park Synagogue institution.  For over 20 years, the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club has provided special programming for parents and their children who will be called to the to the Torah as a Bar/Bat Mitzvah during the coming year.  The Club meets on Sunday mornings during the second semester of the 6th grade school year and helps families to prepare together for this important milestone.  Students build on their Religious School education and Youth Shabbat experience to increase their knowledge of the rituals and prayers of the synagogue services.  The curriculum for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club focuses on mitzvot, helping students to understand the responsibilities associated with coming of age.

Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program
It's never too late to become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.  We have adult simchas on Saturday evenings here at Park Main.  Please contact Rabbi Skoff's office if you are interested in a date for your adult ceremony.  Classes are held during the week .
