Park Synagogue's philosophy is that Jewish learning should never stop, and that there is always something new to learn about Judaism. With that in mind, Park offers formal and informal learning opportunities for adults of all ages and backgrounds. Join us to expand your knowledge and horizons!
Rabbi's Bible Class Rabbi Skoff leads a thought-provoking weekly Bible study class on Sunday mornings during the Religious School year from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the Park Synagogue East building in Room 147. The class reads the upcoming week's Torah portion in English and then discusses its meaning and how it relates to our lives today. The class is open to individuals of all ages and educational backgrounds. No registration or reservations are necessary - come weekly or whenever your schedule allows. Talmud Study Group Join Rabbi Tzvi Urkowitz on Sunday mornings during the Religious School year from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Park Synaogue East. No pre-registration is necessary and the program is open to all. Schedule: April 7, 14, 21 and 28. May 5, 12, 19
Learn to Read Hebrew Park Synaogue offers two Hebrew classes based on students' reading levels.
Level I: Learn Prayerbook Hebrew with Judy Eigenfeld. Join Judy during the Religious School year for small-group instruction. Email Judy at jeigenfeld@hotmail.com to learn more including meeting times and location.
Level II: Reading Fluency & Reading Enjoyment on Thursday evenings during the Religious School year from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Park Synaogue East. The class is taught by Valerie Levinsohn.
